What do people live for?
I think for many, they live to keep from dying. That's it. They hold on so tight to that safe and secure world they know, that they never really get to appreciate life in the way someone has, who has risked it. Yeah, I can understand these guys, if in fact they ever really did it like the video shows. (After all, it was a commercial for a bank or something.) I'd like to think this is a true tale, but I somewhat doubt it. (Sure were a lot of cameras around to capture all of it.) But in the end, it's the emotive thought that counts. Ugh-ragh! |

I can only pray that I have that kind of spirit when I reach that age. Still brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it.

I understand Chinese. In that video, the guys were traveling around the entire Taiwan island non-stop (not literally no-sleeping kind of non-stop, but they go around the island in one trip). This is very popular amongst Taiwanese because they have great mountain and coast roads there.
Also check out this video, it is called "What is your dream before the age of 30?" The guys was interviewing people about their dreams while traveling the island. Quite inspiring. Day1:

I love the windshield with the wife's picture on it and the big picture of their friend on the back of one bike

I'm with these guys in spirit as much as I know how to be,(as I know many of you are). I WILL NOT ever stop riding,(I can see maybe, getting a smaller bike someday if I have to),but, I'LL ALWAYS have my passenger pegs down from now on.
Really. |

The picture of the friend on the back made me pause it. I had to gather for a second having lost my main riding buddy this year already. Man, they put our bank commercials to shame.
