Default New Cage

We've been looking for a while now for a wheelchair van for our youngest son that meets our criteria and budget. We finally found and bought this one yesterday. It's a beast. It's a 1997 E-150 with the 5.4L engine. It's got a custom fabricated body lift to accommodate a 7" dropped floor, in addition to the raised roof. I'm 6'6" and can nearly stand up inside it. The previous owner has every single receipt and service report from anything and everything he ever bought or had done to the van. He even gave us pictures taken during the conversion fabrication. And he switched every single fluid in the van to Amsoil at the first oil change. The thing has been in WI since new in 1997, yet has no rust anywhere. The guy was super anal about maintenance.

You might be able to get your motorcycles up into the back as well. It looks like it has the room.

Dang..that is a beast. Is it 4WD or is it just the body lift making it look that way?

Congrats on finding one that's had such great care. He's the kinda guy I try to buy stuff from.

No, it's not a 4x4, just looks the part because the body lift to accommodate the dropped floor. The guy I bought it from is very big into the off road stuff though, and he was going for a mild off road prerunner look. I may finish the look, and give my son something really cool to ride in. Similar to some of the ones here: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...K4XtggeA8IDSBA

Congrats! I used to have a '97 E150 conversion van. It was my favorite 4-wheeled vehicle that I've ever owned.
