1985 GS 550LF colour code

Hey everyone I'm looking for a colour code for my 85 GS550 LF (or just L). Having trouble finding it, came across 23A eagle grey but i'm not too sure. Any ideas of websites I could check out? Thanks so much. OH and any tips on how to shine up front shock covers? They're a bit pitted and hoping to get them looking nicer so I can get collector plates for it.
