Or the Bimota Tesi 3D.
Yamaha made a bike with a similar front end called the GTS 1000 in 93. it's nothing new really but very uncommon.

I don't care how good Vyrus's are, they're unforgivably ugly.

For 85 grand? Not for me, especially when I consider for that I could get a CBR1000RR to eat it all day long that doesn't look like a badly done sci fi movie bike.
That's my opinion, of course. |

well... they question you have to ask yourself is do you want them on your bike?
if you are looking for inovation in forks. then you should be looking att brittens v1000 or the motocycs bike |

personally, I think they're rather awkward, and must agree that a CBR is a much better choice.
convention is conventional for a reason, you see. it would have caught on if it was a good idea. forks need no innovation, and personally, I like springer front ends (but i'm just a minimalist.)

Ugly or not, the system works well. There reason it's not more main stream is due to what you see illustrated; people aren't ready for change. People would rather give up a provable advantage to stay with what they feel warm and fuzzy about.

Oh C'mon......
if your tires are the first and most important piece of interface with the road and something that's been proven better came along would you pass on the added traction? No, certainly not....because it's still a tire so it's comfortable to consider. Your suspension is next. Telescopic forks are hundred or so year old technology that's most certainly been adapted and upgraded over the years but the basic action is still the same, as are all the shortcomings. Wheelbase, rake and trail STILL change under braking, acceleration and just general bumps in the road. All my bikes have regular old forks on them but I'd beat up a clown for something better.
