It may work fine. I don't trust the kick stand to start with. Let alone use it like that on a daily basis. Just me...

yeah I think it'd be fine using it, BUT my only concern is can I keep the balance when turning the bike, because, heck, I have problem balancing the bike while I'm on it or just pushing it around!

I don't think I will try that, since I have a 500 lbs cruiser LOL

^ Gotta agree. Mine is 465 dry and I know I can lift it or catch it from a fall. But if you think you can’t confidently lift your own bike I wouldn’t trust this thing, one slip and you watch your bike hit the floor.

My buddy does this on his R1 and he seems to do it fine. I would never try it, and I keep telling him that he is going to turn his R1 into a very large paperweight for the concrete if he keeps doing it, but I still enjoy watching it....I have seen a guy at a bike night flip his bike around in less than a second and it looks sick

My friend did this the other day and it freaked me out, I was turning around doing a little u turn and he just picks his up an spins it around.. I was like wtf?! But yea I don't see a problem as long as you don't lose your balance that could suck. But as far as the stand holding the weight i don't see that being an issue.

I tried that. I thought "That's the answer to my storage dreams!". Problem: it's not so easy with an 800 lb. cruiser. Scratch that. RonK ![]() |
