Hello all from New Zealand, or "The Land of The Long White Cloud", or in the Maori tounge Aotearoa. Anyways it dont matter what ya call it, its still home to me. Just thought I better say gidday to all the other bike lovers in cyberworld.
I am 37 years old and have been riding since I was 16 although have been bikeless for the last 4 years. I have just bought myself another bike, a 1988 GPX250 Ninja, or as those stateside refer to it an EX250. I know its just a little bike but money dictates, and with a mortgage etc that money dont go far. Anyway I have to pick up my "new" bike in 2 days time...it is located roughly 400km away (bout 250 Mi)...and as it is in a minor state of disrepair I cannot ride it back which is a shame cos its in primo MC country....the roads are real great! So I feel at the moment like a young kid waiting for that big fat smelly guy in the red suit to show.... Anyway just thought I would say Hi, or Gidday or kia-ora ....Keep the rubber on the blacktop... |

Hello, it's the big fat smelly Guy, here to say welcome to the forum
![]() You're going to have some fun riding that Ninja. Plenty of power for a 250cc. |

New Zealand huh? Pretty cool. You must have really cool roads over there because Harley Davidson sells a vacation where you tour NZ on their rental Harleys. The pics promoting it are beautiful. Anyway, welcome.
