I've recentely bought an honda nx 250 and it was fine until the last few days
She simply won't idle.
At first, i had to keep the choke on 1/4, then it was 3/4
Now she won't idle at all.
I checked the plug, there is spark - plug is clean looks great
I charged up my battery, to make sure it wasn't weak (it was from trying to start it, so i figured it would be a good thing to do)
I checked the gas tank, the gas flows form the tank, checked the hose going from the tank to the carb, that's fine as well
I have yet to check the carb, I am waiting for my friend to come down and maybe take it off to clean it.
This morning i decided to try the bike again, since my friend was the one who told me to charge my battery up - still the same thing
I have to twist the throttle to even get it started, and when I do she revs up really rough (not a complete backfire, but that's the sound it has)
I took the battery off agian, since it went weak again, and I have it charging agian.
I did notice tho, that both terminals on the battery were getting hot - and this was after about 5 minutes of trying to turn the bike over. Is this normal when you're attempting to start a bike that wont start?
Any ideas appreciated
