Is the "Private Messages" link the primary way to get to the detailed profile editing page?

Also, a moderator informed me "once you reach verified you can set your custom user title in your User CPU under Edit Your Details"...HOWEVER, tho I think mine is still supposed to be noob, it seems to have magically changed to "TRIKEDRIVER"...I can't even see the User CPU option on my Edit Your Details page to do anything about it. It's not really a big deal...but I DON'T ride a trike. :)

User CP is at the top of the page in the black bar along with Frontpage, FAQ, New Posts, Arcade, Search, Quick Links, Log Out and About Us.

Trikedriver is just a standard user title, but I can sure see why you would want to change it :)

Look toward the upper left side of the forum. You will see a "User CP" button in the black link bar between "Frontpage" and "FAQ". You can change your user title after 15 posts.

Yet, I shouldn't be able to change my title for a few more posts still. How would it have changed?

It automatically changes as you gain more posts. You can override the automatic changes after 15 posts.

Oh...by "Trikedriver is just a standard user title"...did you mean that this is a title that all users progress through? I was thinking it was "standard" for people that actually rode Trikes (the often weird, non-atv, three-wheeled motor vehicles)...

Sorry for all the silly questions and need for clarification...but each one brings me that much closer to 15 so I can link to pics/vids of my bike in the repair section. ;)

You are correct. All members have that title until 15 posts.

I am trying to upload a profile picture. The pic has been sized to less than 64k. I get an upload failed responce. What do I need to do?

If that's an "avatar" pic, then it needs to be a LOT smaller.
The one I just checked from somebody else is only 140X140 pixels and about 5K.
