Looking for some good winter/wet conditions pants. I like to go for multi-hour cruises. I can get a pair of these pants (http://www.newenough.com/protective_apparel/textile_jackets_and_pants/tour_master/caliber_textile_motorcycle_overpants.html for $100 locally. They may be big for me though. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Tourmaster makes some very good gear. I have the Venture pants and they are excellent in the cold or wet. They are a bit too warm when it gets hot.

I'll second the motion for Tourmaster pants. I have
a pair of the Quest pants which I like a lot. They cost
about half as much. The ones you are looking at are
definitely twice as good.

Be aware that the Rainguard lining isn't really
as breathable as they say. It is a water barrier,
keeping the moisture in as well as out. On the
warm days, you might feel cool like its breathing,
but when you take the pants off, whatever you
wear under will be damp or even wet.

I'll "third" the motion for Tourmaster. I have the Venture pants and have been riding in 25-30 degree weather here in Maine the past couple of weeks. Without the quilted lining.
