How to install a powercommander(demonstrated on a 2005 GSXR 1000)

Attain your Power commander, I got mine from indysuperbikes.com for 258.00 plus shipping.

1. Remove drivers seat

2. Remove or lift gas tank, I chose to lift and wedge rather than remove it since I just filled up.

3. Mount the power commander, I chose to do this in the rear storage in between the fairing and frame.

4. Run the wires down past the battery.

5. connect negative connection to PC.

6. Run wires under the gas tank to near the fuel injectors.


7. Connect the power commander and reconnect the FI wires.

There is a wire to splice but I imagine it is different on each bike so I didn't bother photoing it. Hope this helps anyone that is looking to install a PC>
