Iv mentioned that my Goldwing handles very badly on a grated road way . I have ran the same bridge on my V star and it was no big deal , on the wing i thought i was going to end up in a pile .
I have a bridgstone spirtfire s11 tire on the front , bike came with it . I have done a fair amount of reading on possible causes for this bike to handle so badly and none of them are present so im thinking the tire .
This tire has a center groove and two stage tread , center is harder compound outer area softer . I did find good reviews on the tire but i also found info saying the tire tends to track bad on grooved pavement so i think the bridge grates would be an even bigger problem for the tire .
Any one want to share your thoughts or have experience with the bridgstone spirtfire s 11 tire ?
The Star has donlops on it , did very well on the grates . Just not sure if this s 11 may be the issue .
