Hi guys and Gals,
I've seen one too many crashes where the riders legs/kness got shredded and am in search of a good pair of comfortable pants. I really like the look of the icon super duty 2 pants. Anyone out there have a set? Are they any good? Also, I'm tall (6'1"). The reported max inseam of 34" may be a little short but they say that they fit loose and low. Also any good info out there on pants for taller riders?
Any help from the community is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ive never tried them, but I have watched Buell's Stunt team, test them to the max. They tied a boat tow rope to the back of a Buell, and pulled a guy on his butt down the road at 40mph wearing some Icon jeans.
That said enough for me.
Ive heard the draggin jeans are great as well.

Ok. 140 miles down the road I love these pants
Started out at 6am in 59 degree weather. The pants are unlined so I thought I'd be cold when the 59 degree air turned into a 49 degree wind chill over my long 70 mile ride. No such thing. The weave was tight enough to keep the air out.
At my destination 59 degrees had turned into 79 degrees. Now I feared that this same tight weave would give me my own private sweat bath in my black pants. (sorry for the visual) Again, no worries. The pants are loose enough that I always felt air cirulating around my, uh, legs.
Overall I am happy with the purchase. I do wish that they had knee pockets to add armor. I tried to put on a pair of the Icon Field Armor Knee Protectors and thos things must be made for preschoolers because even the skinny parts guy at my local shop couldnt get those things to fasten without them being so tight that they cut off circulation. I'm 6'1" and the 34" inseam is plenty long. Way long when off the bike to the point I was rolling the cuffs. But on the bike they felt perfect even in the sport riding position.
Thats the low down. I hope this was informative

Thanks a million for the review, I plan on getting a pair myself after dropping my bike recently and realizing that my regular jeans are useless at protecting me!

I have a pair of the jeans. I really like them. The side pockets have a great way of closing that is both secure and easy to get in to retrieve things. The length is long, but perfect for riding. They are still ankle length even with bent knees on a sport bike. I wish that they came in other colors than black and camo. I bought the black, and would like another pair, but not if it is in camoflage.
