perdy bike :)
im not so much into anything that isnt sporty, but hell with bikes that can look like that, i might just upgrade to one of those rather than a sport bike :p
JW-isnt a 1300 a little high? or does that only count for sports bikes as well?
either way, good luck have fun and ride safe!

1300's are on the upper side of doable first "cruisers". The difference between sport vs. cruisers really comes down to horsepower vs. weight. A cruiser probably won't jump out from under you like a sport bike would if your "accidently" heavy on the throttle. But it will probably fall over if your not ready for the weight/balance transfer. A heavy bike makes it difficult and less forgiving to do the slow manuvering stuff. On the bigger sportbikes, it's the horsepower which gets new riders in trouble.

my mom's boyfriend has a '03 model, they are time tested and basically bulletproof. though i do wish they had double rotors up front.
gear up and ride safe :)

are you talking about the pink one in the bottom right of pic 2? cuz that's a mighty fine starter bike if you are :D
dont take what SuperSherpa197 says about gear lightly. gear is more impotent then a day or 2 of riding, trust me on that one.

That is a beautiful looking bike man, congrats and ride safe. Don't forget to take the MSF course, its too important.
Don't push yourself on the learning curve, do lots of parking lot practise and take care of that bike more than your life. :D
