Hello

I just exchanged a pair of XL gloves for L gloves. the XLs felt good but had too much material at the end of the fingers, plus the molded knuckle plate in the gloves were behind my knuckles when I curled my hands.

The L gloves fit, but they are snug, and I noticed that my left hand felt a little choked. when i took the gloves off i noticed red marks in m y skin from the knuckle plate and the stitching. (my left hand is a little bigger than my right, so the right hand felt ok)

SO... which gloves are better? the ones with the excess material and the roomier fit in the palm (but with the misplaced knuckle guard) or the smaller ones? I am assuming that they will stretch a little? they are olympia full throttle all leather gloves...

They are nice gloves, with extra leather on the palms and gel padding too. perforated as well, will that help them stretch?

Thanks

I had this same problem, but it is the thumb to index finger is not long enough. I started with a large, and ended up with an XXL.

I say bigger is better. It bugged me for a while having all the xtra material in the finger tips, but thats much better than a tight glove. It causes all kinds of cramping, and over time it just gets worse. The first few days it will bother you, but then your hands don't get to recoop from yesterdays ride, so you start with them already hurting. after a month of this your hands will just always hurt, and that sux.

In theory you would think you would want your gloves tight, but I think loose is better. You just don't want any possible movement restricted.

Thats just my 2 cents.

Find a different brand. My Fieldsheer fit just fine but same size TourMaster's give me numb on the thumbs, not sure if it's because it's not long enough or the scretch between the thumb and index finger is not wide enough, but when I hold the handle grip the tip of thumb gets pretty good pressure on them.
