I would agree rex.... this might be the one and only time that NOT paying attention was beneficial for the guy on the left. If he had seen the deer and (like most of us who are familiar with deer/vehicle interactions) slowed down even the slightest I think he would have been in trouble. Of course it's hard to say with the angle of the camera, but it looks like the deer had just about enough height where it's hooves would have slapped the rider in the side of his head.....biggest this to remember with deer is they very rarely travel alone. It's not the one you see that hits/gets hit by you...it's the one following that you didn't see, because you were watching the first one....:eek:

That's amazing. I think the deer was next to the rider at the start of the jump but about midway through it the guy was past it. Incredible.

Deer are my worst fear on my bike. At least a car has head lights. Deer have powers of invisibility, not even super man can do that!
