View Full Version : Finger Length in Gloves

I just received my gloves today in the mail and tried them on. They fit pretty well and are adjustable at the cuff. They are Fieldsheer Lola Perforated Ladies gloves.

The only thing about them is that there is about 1/2" of glove at the tips of my fingers. I was wondering if this would make them any less safe than a glove that fit just right.

For those of you who don't know, I am taking my MSF course in a few weeks and that will be my first time riding :)

Thanks!

So youre saying they are a little long? I think as long as the are secure at your wrist they should be fine. My gloves are little long, especially if my fingers out strait. But when I'm gripping the handle bars it feels fine. I probably couldve gone a size smaller but I wanted the extra length in the thumb because it's easier for me to reach the turn signals

Cool Thanks. I'll be trying them out during my MSF course so I will see how they work :)

This is always a problem for me - I have big hands and stubby fingers, so if the gloves fit over my paws, they are too long in the fingers and vice versa.

When you curl your hands around the handlebars, some of that slack will disappear. I rode for a while with a little extra room in my fingertips and I didn't notice any problems.

I would rather have tight gloves than loose gloves, loose gloves are the worst for control imo.
