Run for the SON - Biker Sunday [Archive]

The ride with the Son CMA Event was this weekend and this is how my day went.

I was woke up early Sunday morning around 7:30 by My pastor he asked my family to do Sundays Worship music. the normal worship leader was having family problems the wife was sick so.
Not a lot of notice but we have to be instant in season and out. All went very well only 2 friends and I had to leave early, well early for our church we left at 12:00 noon right after doing worship to go on the run for the SON event there were 175 bikes riding and it was great to be a part of that I got my bike blessed as well as helping to bless a few others. it was a 78 mile ride not the 100 advertised there was a wreak that played havoc with our rout. All and all it was a great ride.
No one with us got in a wreak however I did see a very close near hit some on coming toward us had a car pull out in front of them and they came within 3 feet of me I had to move over to give the guy room to keep us from hitting in my part of the lane he was threading the ctr line trying to slow down to keep her from hitting him thankfully all was well.
I just wish I would have checked my camera I forgot to put in the mem card so took the camera for no reason man was I disappointed no pics.
175 bikes and no pics well that is life.
I just hope my covered bridge trip tomorrow goes better. 2 covered bridges in around 130 miles round trip and then on to beef O bradies for a CMF Dinner meeting so looks like a full day off on my Birth Day I will post the pics if I don't forget some thing like the battery's or camera :rolleyes:
