Hi, I am thinking about getting a Honda CB125 as my first bike and I had a few 'how to' questions. My first question is of course how can I turn a stock CB125S into a Cafe Racer and where would I get the parts (links would be appreciated). My second question is how I could add some power to the little 124cc bike. My third question is how would I go about installing a tachometer onto the Honda.

P.S. I am planning this to take place over a few months so I don't really have a budget or time limit but I don't want to completely rebuild the bike or spend thousands of dollars.

Thanks, Peter.

That's kinda a tough question. Your best bet would be to start searching this site and googling "honda cafe" and see what you can find out. Many cafe bikes have modified stretched or narrowed tanks. Handle bar controls are usually cleaned up, seat is moved back some and add a cowling behind the seat. Some also move the foot controls back by using rear sets. There tons of others things you could do to get the cafe look for your bike. I am not sure what is available specifically for you model of bike but there are alot of parts out there for the Honda 350, 450 and 750 bikes. You might be able to use some parts meant for those models and modify them to your needs. Good luck with the build and post some pictures so we can all check it out.

Try searching "clubman" that key word cuts out a lot of the riff raff.
