How old does a bike have to be to be considered vintage? I have a '75,So would 30 years do it?

Well, for cars it's 20 for a classic and 25 for an antique...so I would think it's the same for bikes...maybe? Anyone?

Sounds about right to me. Although I think the definition is continually changing, especially with cars. I am not sure anything in the late 70's or anything in the 80's will ever be considered classic.

My take on the whole vintage is whether or not you see these bikes on market anymore. When I hear vintage, I think old school 4 into three with a dummy pipe, stock knobby tires, classic paint and such. That and low mileage is something vintage riders are looking for in a classic bike.

I have notice that a bike has to be a 1980, or older to show up on a Vintage price list.
