I heard an interesting story last week from one of our employees. He bought a new sportbike and wasn't too familiar with it yet. He was trying to stop it rather quickly and started to do a stoppie. Some how he rolled the throttle and shot off like a rocket towards the car in front and he lowsided it.
He broke his ankle, but he was going to try and ride it home since he didn't think he was badly hurt. However the shifter was broken. That night he had to have open heart surgery to remove a large clot from his heart caused by the ankle injury. Despite having about a 1% chance to live he survived. Kinda scary, I figured a broken ankle would be no big deal.
