Wow - I thought my 707 Vendetta helmet was getting loose and it was shaking a lot at higher speeds from the wind...so I bought the Scorpion Exo 400 (Octane) and wow what a difference!!!

Quiet to the wind. Even with the shield fully up (open). Seems like a lot more padding, too, with plenty of room for speakers if you like to listen while you ride. There are lots of air vents, and there's an exit vent with a wing in the back that creates vacuum and pulls the heat out of the helmet when you open it.

I feel no wind resistance at all if I peek around the windscreen. Very good shape.

It's DOT and SNELL, so it's safe, and I would easily recommend it if you're looking for a decent FF helmet. I paid about $120 online. Look for the deals!

I have the Scorpion Exo 400 as well, and love it. I forget what my design is called and am too lazy to look it up. But it is quiet, well ventilated, and fits well... very comfortable. I even bought my husband one and he loves it too. Doesn't fog up, either.

I ride with a scorpion exo 700, I plan on upgrading to the 1000 as soon as I need a new one but they are great helmets!

I'd seen the Scorpions around and was not only impressed with price but the features as well, particularly the drop down visor. This feature reminded me of my old military flight helmet that now graces the garage well. This big visor is a super idea.

Still, I needed a 3/4 face and purchase this model. I quickly discovered the audio option. After unscrewing two philip head screws and installing my comm-set I was really surprised how comfortable and well sounding this option made my riding experience.

Bottom line: Great product at a great price, looks good, as an optional visor/face shield option and the price is hard to beat. I plan to purchase my wife her own full face version next week.

I bought my Scorpion right off the display rack...no box and no instructions. After I got home, I couldn't figure out how to remove the face shield. Then after figuring it out, couldn't put it or the visor back on. Thank goodness the instructions were on their web site.
Like the rest of you out there, I really like mine too!

I bought a Scorpion EXO400 as my first helmet and after wearing it for a week I am very happy with it. The venting is good and works well, fit is great, and looks pretty sharp. I got the matte black. Seems like a great helmet at the price.

Anyone wear glasses with it?
