I just bought a pair this weekend at CycleGear (store)...they were regular: $129 - 30% sale, and I had a $20 off coupon...so I paid about $75.
I bought them one size larger than my jeans so I could wear them over everything. Nice cool mesh, good padding on the knees, hips and thighs, zippered to fit over boots - but it's easier to just take them off when removing the pants.
Very comfortable, and a good purchase, I think. I have a Motoboss mesh jacket, and so far have been very happy with their products. I would recommend the pants OR jacket.
I wish I was wearing these last month when I crashed - my hip was slammed on the ground and I was in a lot of pain for weeks...if I had the padding, I would have walked away laughing.
The jacket saved my ass for sure! Gloves too. If you don't do anything else, helmet and gloves are a MUST! (Not fingerless - you won't remember to curl your fingers in if you're flying!) :)
