+1 or some type of vacuum gauge kit. It will never idle correctly without having this tool and syncing the carbs. Just make sure you have vacuum ports on the carbs and know what size they are before you buy a gauge kit.

I am kinda curious about this also. I have a 71 cb350 that I have been trying to tweak the carbs on. How do you sync CV style carbs? They don't have a vacuum pulse fitting. I have seen some gauges that you put over the inlet of the carb but thought I would see what others have done.

I have a 1978 CB750A Hondamatic and was also curious about the proper type of guage kit to use either the type that has 4 guages w/ hoses or the type that goes over the inlet that "kevhead75" described. Can anyone tell me what would be the most practical application if any?
