I was wondering if anyone has had any experience or opinion on this type of riding shoe. I'm going to begin riding to class soon and I was interested in these because they have a casual look and I wont have to keep my regular street shoes in my pack. Do these offer any real significant protection? Thanks! :D

I have no experience with them. BUT.
Doesn't pit mean they will be worn in the pit and NOT on the bike?
Bike shoe RULE is, over the ankle.

Those do look a little low-cut.

Check out the Shift Racing Fuel Street Shoe, similar plain style, but a little more on the ankle.

Thanks for the info! Now that you mention it, I can see that low cut isn't the best way to go.
