Tukwila, checking in :D

I'm in the process of getting an XV1000 virago up and running and then will start riding again... unless it's raining heavily, then it's back to the Jeep! People in Seattle are too stupid to be trusted with cars whenever it's raining or snowing. Heck, most of them shouldn't EVER be trusted with cars come to think of it...

Hey guys check out this page, pnwriders, you should be able to find a lot of riding buddies there.

Just beware before you donate financially to PNW! I loved PNW and made a huge circle of riding friends. Also went on lots of local rides with PNW members. But when I made a substantial monetary donation and didn't even get so much as a thank-you or even any kind of ackknowledgement, and e-mails to the administrator went ignored, I posted a thread inquiring about making donations. When I got slammed for simply asking why they wouldn't even acknowdledge my donation or at least send a simple thank you, I had enough of PNW. Other members defended the administrator as being "too busy to answer PM's or e-mails", but it only took less than 3 minutes for them to refund my donation after I contacted PayPal. Gee, how ironic. YES, PNWriders members are awesome for finding local riders and group rides! I went on about 10 or 12 rides with other members. Of course it's 90% young sportbike riders. But hey, if you're just looking for locals, this it the place to go! Just think twice before you donate money if you like to get a confirmation of who gets your funds online, because it just won't happen at PNW! The other forum I've donated to a couple times upwards of triple digits sends an immediate thank you/acknowledgement, which is not what I require but it sure helps to make sure my funds didn't get hacked up by some idiot who transfers the funds to his bank account. I withdrew myself from that forum (deleted account) and have since found many that are better!

Anyway, with all my venting out of the way...

I'm in Tacoma, and ready to ride on any given day, 7 days a week, as long as the roads are dry! Cold is no problem. Wet is an issue, and I won't ride in the rain or on wet roads. I will, however, ride any day of the week. I prefer mostly slower speeds on country backroads over freeway speeds. And cruising at 90 mph with passing every group of cars at 150 got old fast. So, if you wanna go on local rides (or to anywhere in the State), get ahold of me if you ever come to Tacoma! Sure, I hit triple digits now and then. My favorite is passing cars after dropping down the 3rd or 4th. But once I get up to about 120, I'm good.

So glad I found THIS forum! Althought there are wierd posting minimum requirements, I'll get over it really fast because I tend to post in many different threads on forums.

GOOD LUCK finding local riders in Washington! There are a LOT of us!
