When do I replace the tubes in tube tires? With each tire change?
What's a good brand?
How long in time or miles do tubes last for?
I do commuter type riding on city streets, highways and interstate. The bike is a 2005 Suzuki C50 Boulevard. I have a feeling I'm on original tubes since I bought the bike with 7,000 miles on it.

Tubes are cheap enough that its better to change with each tire change than to keep an old tube in there. I wouldn't go to any trouble to change the tubes without changing the tire, though.

One thing to take special notice of when replacing your tires. If you have the C50C with the cast wheels those are tubeless. If you have the C50 or C50T with the spoke wheels, you have tube tires with tube type rims, so make sure you have the correct type of tires if you are buying them seperately than from the shop. While most manufacturers say you can put tubeless tires on a tube type rim with a tube installed, here in the Portland Metro area, a coworker tried to do just that but couldn't find a repair shop that would do it, as they are so concerned with liability issues. Another thing, radials generally are tubeless, installing a tube in them requires a special type of tube and again you'll be hard pressed to find a shop to install them.
