Help!! Cb350 twin only running one cylinder

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I throttle up I get a quick burst of power as both cylinders fire, but I don't think it's burning all the fuel from the left carb, carb also drools gas from the overflow. Lots of whitish smoke that I suspect is unburned gas and it back fires. Some flames come out of that sides' pipe. It was running so sweet I guess this is what I get for bragging on her. Could she just be flooding out on that side? What should I do?
Thanks,

freedumb,
yes flooding could be the reason. Check the float height in your carbs on that side. Also check to make sure there is spark at the plug.

yes, i just rebuilt a 71 honda CL350, and the ignition coil for one cylinder was out, so i was running on only one cylinder myself. bought some new ignition coils from Denniskirk.com and now it works like new. only got 2,100 miles on her and she sat in a barn since 1978. got it for free, rebuilt it, and now ride it to work every day.
