Look for products by SEM, they make specialized coatings for plastics in spray cans including matte finishes and adhesion promoters. Try your local Automotive Paint Wholesaler....

how much stuff are you trying to paint? I'd say you'd get a better finish by taking it to a body shop. Find a small locally owned one. They might do it for less than a Maaco or something.

yeah man i am all about the matte black street fighter look. I have paint guns and i know how to use one, but in my opinion for that cheap badass look spray cans are the way to go, krylon makes some good plastic adhesion paint that flexes and can take heat. you can also buy barbecue spraypaint that is matte black and that will really take the heat.
