Has anyone ever heard of a 2001 Husqvarna 400 dual sport (street legal)?

From what I know about Huskys, they may had been legal from the factory in Europe but not in North America. Unless you put on the turn signals etc. I heard that the bikes were shipped with all the street legal stuff, but its not put on them.

Here's a link to a 2002 400.

Here's a link to a Husky catalog, it goes back to 1988.

Some Huskies were street legal in recent years. I don't know for sure if they had one in 2001 though. A fair number of riders who wanted more aggressive dual sport bikes made some European enduros into dual sports. Finally the factories did it legally in all states, but maybe California.

Usually a titled bike is fine for most states, but check to be sure. Some come in under Grandfathered clauses.
