Hey everyone! I'm just starting to get into motorcycling because my dad had one before he passed away and I was waiting till I could start to drive to really get into them. I'm 15 and I have my driving permit but instead of a car I would rather save up for a motorcycle because of gas and I have a need for speed. I'm about 6'2" 200lbs and was wondering if you guys had any good ideas on which bike I should get remember I still have some growing to do haha.

Somethings about me are as said before 15 etc, love motorcycles of course, paintball player, video game player, weight lifter and all that good teenager stuff. By the way my name is Alejandro some people call me alex or ollie. Thanks!:D

Welcome to the forum Alex!

A dual sport may be to your liking since they have pretty good seat heights and can take the tumbles that may accompany the learning curve.

I completely understand the need for speed, since I enjoy it also. Just be sure to temper that with the need to stay alive and you should be ok.

I'll move this thread over to the "No Motorcycle Yet" section, since that's where it goes.

I have a need for speed.

Just remember the only place for that is the track ^_^

right

Normal starter bikes I recommend that are sporty style (since I'm assuming you're looking for a sportbike style bike) are

Ninja 250
Ninja 500
Ninja 650
GS 500
SV 650

I'm 6'2 and I started on the GS 500 E (it's the same as the F model but has no fairings) and I found it quite comfortable.
