Check out the LOOKS and the specs to that bad girl! 55 MPH & 75 mile range on a single charge! Kinda favors a mini V-strom in the front?

I wonder what the licensing requirements would be on something like this? It's certainly under 50 CCs. :)

Here in NC, if it can do over 30mph, it has to be licensed as a motorcycle.

For intown operation, that is great!
The Governor in Kentucky issued an executive order that electric carts, bikes, and scooters are legal to operate on any road that the unit is able to on roads where the speed limit does no exceed the capability of the unit.

There are a few manufacturers in Europe that will be releasing electric units similar to a small compact vehicle. I really think we'll be seeing a lot of this in the near future.

These are fully street legal, must be licensed and insured and the operator is required to have a motorcycle license (endorsement). These ain't no toys! What I wanna know is why didn't we start seeing these in the late 70's and 80's?

The technology to keep a powerful enough battery charged long enough to be practical (and at a reasonable price) is just starting to come into use.

Sorry mate, but you don't get 55 mph AND 75-mile range together; it's one or the other, take your pick. I'm sticking with gasoline.
