I'll start out this new forum by listing my favorite mini-bikes.
First comes the Honda CT70. It's large seat makes it comfortable for an adult. Anyone in the family can ride it. It really excells on fire trails and other mountain roads & trails.
Second is the Benelli 65cc Mini Enduro. It's street legal & will go 55 while still good for trail riding.
Other great minis I've owned include Honda QA50, Suzuki Trailhopper, Steen 100cc, and of course the one I manufactured myself...The Shark 50cc 2-speed automatic. I built & sold a couple hundred of these back in 1976.
I love minibikes.

Hodaka Road Toad.
Or the Dirt Squirt.
Seriously, no one would have the balls to name their bike the "Road Toad" in this day and age. Gotta love Hodaka.

Well I thought of Hodaka which is a great bike but really can't consider it a minibike thought the Steen used the Ace 100 engine it was much smaller than the stock Hodaka.

back when I was about 13 I rode a Honda 90 (I know, not a mini bike) but my grandpa went out and bought 2 little Honda 50's they were so small that the place we rode, I had to stand up on the pegs to see over the grass LOL I kind of miss those little bikes (not that I could fit on one now)

Yeah, the Hodakas were definitely not small. I had a Wombat. It had a huge chrome fuel tank, about 5 gallons, I think.

1972 honda ct 70 here.
Mine has a 140cc motor,3.5 gal aux tank, stiffer springs front and rear, 12 volt system, luggage rack, custom exaust, oil cooler. Good for 60mph right now. Should get another 5 mph when I dial in the jetting/carb.

No that's the Dynamo sold brand new in '75 for $295. The mini enduro used the same engine but was more traditional motorcycle shape & design, it cost $395. I had a windshield on mine. For $495 you could get a dynamo with a sidecar attached (street legal) the shriners loved them. I was a dealer for several years

Love the ct70's, just bought one about a month ago and I've already done a ton of mods to it. Threw a lifan 110cc in it, bigger handlebars, turn sigs, beefier shocks, etc. Great little bike.
