I bought a pair of Ebay for $53. They are made of heavy nylon and claim to be both wind and water proof. I can attest that they are windproof but have yet to get rained on while wearing them. They come in S-3XL. For the price you can't beat them. They have an 8" zipper for attatching to a jacket, CE armored hips and knees, an easy hook belt, removable quilted liner and 2 fairly deep zippered and velcroed pockets.
The only problems I had with them is the 8" zipper in the back that join it to a jacket was backwards to both my jackets (I stitched the "dead zipper" off my one jacket to the "dead zipper" on the pants together to adapt them). They only come in 1 length for the most part. The 2XL (38" waist) have a 36" inseam. After having a local woman do some alterations for $20 I had a good pair of warm and comfortable riding pants. They are a little hot on real hot days even with the liner removed but that's expected. I wore them on a 35 degree day with no problems.
Just search EXL pants on Ebay.
