Hello
Does anyone know where in Colorado or the surrounding area to take a motorcycle to just to see what it can do?

Yes. Pueblo Motorsports Park is about the only track left for guys who want to ride on open track days. Either track days or they have a 1/4 mile strip.

funny, someone just told me yesterday that High Plains Raceway is opening up. i read on their website that they just finished paving and should open next year. i havent thoroughly read the website yet but that might be an option for next year...

That looks like a really cool track. Was unaware of it's existance. Would love to go check it out. They say they're having and open house on Nov. 22. No vehicles on the track but walking and bicycles are allowed. I might try to make that.

ya someone from work told me about the walkthrough. that is how i heard about the track. looks like it will be pretty sweet though (might be my inexperience) i was going to look into some advance riding classes/track classes. have you taken any or know of any?

No, I don't know of any at the moment but some of the shops/racers do advanced or even intermediate classes at the tracks. That track really looks sweet but its hard to tell just from pics. Pueblo Motorsports is the only local track I've been to in the last three years, all the others closed down. I have been to Millers in Utah and it is sweet, worldclass. Worth a trip over to get on it.

Bandimere (sp) in Morrison (Redrocks) is where everyone went when I lived in Denver in the 80's. It's SW of Denver...kinda by Golden.
