If you just want to post the link to your pic, I will quote it and make the image viewable to everybody :)
My 2004 KLR650 I had, man I miss that bike :(, was completely stock but that's the way I liked it + the gear I wanted was way to expensive.

She mainly sees dirt duty at the moment. Tires and turn signal and she'll be back on the street again.

My '08 XR650L....mostly stock but I removed the evap system and routed the carb vents into the airbox, switched out the stock tires with Dunlop D606s, raised the forks 1 inch and lowered the back about 1 3/4 inches, with a Koubalink, dropped from a 15 tooth in front, to a 13 and swapped out the low stock 'bars, for a set of "Hi-CR" Pro-Tapers. A different pipe will be next. Of course...the stickies went on, the first day. :D
I'm considering modifying the airbox and moving the battery, from behind the numberplate but I'll probably wait 'til the warranty runs out. I may get into some suspension mods...still tryin' to get the stock boingers sorted out. I do kinda' wish there was a Powroll kit for it. :D
These pics were before & after a ride through the National Forest public trails.

This is my Norte America bike. It will run down the Interstate at 100+, tear through the twistys and it will run gravel/dirt with no problem. It's well balanced so when you're going 4mph the front end stays straight. Lots of torque which keeps you upright and moving forward. This is not a good bike in third world country and it doesn't like wet mud (but neither do I) I've made some mods since this pic but all that amounts to is some tube steel to keep my saddlebags off the exhaust and some hand guards because I take a yearly winter trip to the Northeast for Xmas and some skiing.

This is the bike I ride when in Costa Rica where I spend a lot of time, it's a 600 Tenere. I like the simplicity of this machine. Lots of blowouts on the jungle roads due to logging trucks and the tire pops off in minutes and the motor just chugs along steady. It's light and easy to maneuver through jungle roads and San Jose congestion (both in abundance).
I also have taken long trips on a Bullet and an African Twin which I liked a lot, it's sort of a rough version of the TDM. I've never ridden a Super Tenere but I'd like to. I like Yamaha because they sit low and I'm all of 5'7
If I find some pics of the other bikes I'll post

KLR650, Supertrapp, carb and airbox mods. It's my commuter, I only ride it in the dirt when I see a "road closed" sign.

They're hard to come by but they sold them in the states for a year. They also sold the Transalp for a year or two.
Large cc Teneres are another story

I can't post a pic yet but I ride an 86 XL185 now. I'll probably keep it a while and get a CRF450X this year, and then probably a KTM dualsport for running to work and so I don't have to trailer it.
My Dad's bike is much nicer though-2008 BMW F650GS. Awesome bike:D

Here's a picture of my mom and my 1200GS, which I dualsport.
It has:
GPS
GSA windscreen and winglets
GSA beak
Remus header & Akrapovic can
Piaa HID lights
Hepco and Becker crash bars
TKC 80 tires
Oil cooler grill (protector)
102 db twin horns
extra power socket
Yesterday I was on a 500 km plus dualsport on my husky 610.
The ride back home was 200 km in the dark. With wind and rain on a mountian/ocean hi-way. The four of us had a really hard time getting back home. Anyways, the ride home would of been a lot nicer of the GS. Those HID lights turn night into day.:D
The other bikes on the ride were a KLR, honda XR650L and a KTM 950 ADV.

Damn, I want one of them. I've heard bad things about the suspension at a slow pace, have you had that problem?
My answer to the people who complain about that is "So ride faster. This ain't rocket surgery":D

It's a sweet bike. And that Acerbis tank looks great on it-I usually don't like the look of aftermarket tanks, even if they are pretty much essential.

Does anyone have a picture of a BMW? I have always heard that they make a excellent dual purpose bike.

Hi guys! Found an old 1974 DT360 in a small, metal shed where it sat for 21 years! I've already started the restoration. If I were allowed to post pics...
In the meantime, just imagine, a Metalflake green gas, and oil tanks, in need of polishing. Not dented up, not faded, but some weird substance covering them. The front fender is plastic, and aside from a coupla small holes where the mud flap attached, and a few scuff/worn paint areas (silver paint), appears in good shape. The headlight bucket and rear fender, as well as the rear tailight stanchion are metal, painted silver, and have a small amount of surface rust on each. The expansion chamber has the worst rust on it (to be expected), around the cylinder jug area, with light rust continuing back over most (not all) of the remainder. No dents in the expan-cham worth mentioning. The seat was in almost perfect condition, (meaning non-ripped), but filthy. Forks are in need of seals (which I've already found and purchased), the lower cast aluminum of the forks look to have been etched with some substance. I doubt if I can get them (the lowers) looking 100%, but I'm sure I can get them looking much better!
Tires are dry rotted, but a local "Rockys" has tires that closely resemble the original Dunlops. When I get around to tires, I'll have some decisions to make. 1) Go for the original look, 2) go for a more aggressive dirt universal, (I believe Metzler has something) or 3) Just put a street tread on, 'cause I'm an old fart, and will do 70% of my riding on the street anyway.
Haven't tried to start it, heck I squirted oil in the cylinder 'cause, well heck, 'cause I'm afraid the rings might be hung up. We'll see. It ran when it was put in the shed, had good spark too. The turn signals were in a bucket, but needed a few replacement parts. I've since found a few correct signals on eBay, purchased them, and between the old and the "new" have some good looking units to put back on.
The handle bars have a tweek in them, hope I can get something that looks original. Buncha' other stuff to rattle on about. I plan on hanging out on this forum (at least till I get chased off). So later on, I'll post pics.
