Let's cruise together

Want to organize a getogether, cruise to an event, Safety in numbers:) Here's the place to post it for our members to consider. Just give all the relevent data and interested fellow members can sign on. Several of us Pa riders would be interested in a daytrip this summer...I just can't get away for any of the big events. Anyone have any ideas?

Seems there are several from PA on this site. You should not have a problem setting up a group ride.

Maico- where are you in central PA again? I remember you telling me once, but I can't place it now. I'd be up for an organized ride... doesn't have to be any place specific. There's lots of nice roads in PA to ride on... I know of a few around me that we could maybe incorporate into a ride. I did an 80 mile loop last weekend that was quite enjoyable.

I'm in Juniata Co, CB750's in Huntington Co. Bloomsburg really isn't that far except I got a little Rebel and it's just no good for more than 75 miles or so. I'm looking for something a bit more comfortable.

if you guys know some roads, I'd be willing to make the trip. The XS400 gets a little buzzy at highway speeds, but I could cruise on down route 11 and then catch another road over into your neighborhood. What's a nearby town that I could check distances and routes to?

I'm about 30 minutes from Bloomsbug. My brother actually graduated college there a few years back.

I'm in Millersburg, so I can hit 11/15 a few different directions. :)

Simon, you're welcome to drop in by my place any time. I know that 30 mins, plus a 120min ride, plus another 30 back is a bit long... but you're always welcome.

How about CB750F & me meet with you guys at the Millersburg Ferry and Simon can give us a tour of that abandoned coal town? That ferry on this side is on 11/15 just below Liverpool about 25 miles from me. Any other Riders that can get there would be welcome as well.

The 3rd is a family reunion, the following weekend is church camp, the weekend after that is Renaissance Faire and a company picnic at Knoebels Grove, and then... I think I'm open after that.

Are you thinking that you and CB750F would take the Ferry Boat from the Liverpool side over into Millersburg? I could meet you on that side if you wanted too.

The 16th won't work for me... I'll be at church camp down near Shippensburg for the weekend with my girlfriends family.

I've been forgetting to check in on this thread.

Anyone up for a meetup? I know how it goes not having much time... pretty much every weekend for me this month has had something planned... but I can usually slip away for a few hours to ride (sometimes only because I MAKE the time to get out)

So, if anyone wants to meet up this weekend, I'm game. I have a wedding in Kentucky to go to the following weekend. Then, it'll start getting chilly :p

If you're up for the 23rd, I'll come over to millersburg by ferry at noon and anyone else who can make it. If it's raining, no go. The only way this can work is set a date...but since we're crashing on Simon's turf....he's gotta go along with it. Rain date 30th.
