Help! A wire came out of my ignition switch on my 2002 triple 955 and when investigating the switch to try to re-attach it, I found that I cannot get into it. It's not bolted on to the top yoke but some sort of rivets seem to hold it on. All I need to do is get the switch open to re-attach the cable but don't want to force anything and end up needing to replace the whole switch.
Has anyone got any ideas how to get the switch off the top yoke or how to get into the damn thing?
Thanks.

I have a daytona 955 and had a similiar problem, I forced it....then bought a new switch.
You can try to drill out the rivets and then jb weld it back together.

Thanks JM-Team. I spent the whole day today trying to take the ignition switch off which I eventually succeeded in doing by grounding off the "shear bolts" that held it together. After prising the thing apart I discovered that no wires were missing! After more searching I found that the 2 wires feed into the little ignition light which is mounted on the top yoke separately from the switch.
I plan to go to my Triumph dealer tomorrow to try to get a replacement ignition light as the connection wires from mine have rusted away. Prob won't cost much and hopefully the problem will be resolved.
Thanks for your help.
