Hello,

My GS has been idling rough below 3000 RPM.

It hesitates at pick up and kicks in after 3000 RPM.

It dies when trying to idle, especially when cold.

Once it's warmed up, it idles rough and occassionally dies.

I've changed the Fuel Filter and does the same.

It's got ~52K mi.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Have you had your throttle bodies synched?

If you're having hesitation at a constant rpm, say 3500rpm, then you need to set your TPS and then synch your throttle bodies.

Is the TPS supposed to click twice?

the cable comes off the pulley on the left throttle body and then the engine runs rough. It is a very easy fix.
If that's not it, synch the throttle bodies

TPS refers to the throttle position sensor. To reset, disconnect the neg lead, wait 30 sec, then reconnect. Turn the ignition switch to "on", but do not start. Open the throttle to FULL OPEN, then close, at least two times, then start. The computer needs that to read full open throttle for proper operation.
