Just got back from Germany, and even with all the riding I did over there, I had no problems whatsoever!
I was in the Niederrhein/Ruhrpott area most of the time and everyone there said that the low-key Polizei presence is only typical of that particular part of the country, or even of Europe in general. I guess everywhere else they have the same overzealous "protect-and-servers" over there as here.
Respects,
Roadrash

lol i would definitly say that they over over zealous in the uk. they will pull you over for just about anything here so you need to keep your eyes peeled if you want to get up any serious speed.

I would agree with that, but then yesterday as it was such a beautiful day there were hundreds of bikes out on the roads, but the cops seemed to be pulling a lot of cars over and generally leaving us bikers alone :)

On Sundays especially in the Cumbria area the police usually seem to target bikers, doing them for any minor thing, but will leave the cars alone.
