Just an intro first, my name is phillip, Im 19 and Ive been trying to get into the motorcycle scene for a while. I am a soldier at Ft. Hood, and as fellow soldiers here know...the pay is not why we do it. Which is why I do not own a bike yet. Ive been thinking a lot about what kind of bike that I want. Kind of toyed with the idea of a street bike, but I really do love the cruisers. Then I went and saw the indiana jones movie, (kinda dissapointed but still alright) anyway, the bike that shia lebouf was riding was awesome. tried doing some research and couldnt find any info on obtaining one like it. I like the postwar look on bikes, do yall have any advice on how to buy one, or build one similar to that. I read it was a 2007 Softail Springer Classic built to look 50 years older....how do I do that? and how expensive?

there are plenty of websites online that you can by like a kit bike and can be very inexpensive. and also just try searching vintage bikes and look for one you like. then just search all over till you find one to your liking and to our pocket's liking

Triumph still makes the Bonneville which is retro, and Royal Enfield is still making the same bikes they did way back when that are that style. Ducati also makes a couple vintage-inspired cafe racer bikes.

That Royal Enfield would make an excellent first bike.
