Alright I need some information on the Buell XB12R firebolt. I saw the bike in Vogelweh Airforce base and fell in love with it. As you see I live in germany and don't know if some of you do can you get the Buell in black with Cany cherry red insted of black with cany orange? And how is the insurance cost for biginners?
I don't need the specs. like it has 101 hp and the hight width and so on I arlredy know all that I need information on how it handles and feels anso on riding information.
Thx
Don't know much about 12s, but I had an 03 XB9R for 3 years/20k miles.
Best bike I ever had, been riding for 30+ years.
Handling was nothing short of amazing.
One of the things that makes a Buell unique is the feeling you get -
You'll be riding along and realize you don't feel anything under you... you're flying thru the scenery like Superman.
That's when you "get it".
The 12 revs a little slower than the 9 but have a bunch more torque.
I now have an 1125R and have put 7700 miles on it in 5 months.
It's better, faster, higher-tech, more fun, more comfortable than the XB9R.
Took a 2600 mile trip last month, had 2 - 400 mile days, a 600 and a 700.
Butt was getting sore on the 700, definitely get the Buell tour seat.
The stock seat is like a frying pan with vinyl on it(many parts are the same for 1125R and Firebolt).
Also drop pegs from a Lightning or a Ulysses help the comfort part.
Hope that helps
