Seems "Laconia bike week" and "The blessing of the bikes" in Colebrook are falling on the same weekend this year. A small group of us are opting for Colebrook because Laconia has gone from fun & wild to crazy & stupid. Sitting for an hour in traffic, tire to tire and going nowhere has gotten old.
We stay at a place called "Robbins cabins" in Pittsburg, NH; not far from the canadian border. The cabins are on Black Lake with some good fishing to be had and a quiet place to relax and BBQ. Some excellent riding and beautiful country surround the area. A trip into Sherbrook, Canada on Saturday makes for a good day (unless ya piss off a border guard) This year we're thinking of a trip into Vermont for a day....we'll see
