Narrower Helmets?

I need a helmet to take the Motorcyle Operator Safety Training course. I tried on a few of them at a local shop but they all made me look like the Great Gazoo from the Flintstones.

I have been trying to find something that will compliment my ugly puss as much as possible so I do not look like a bobblehead driving around. I realize that it is safety first, but can I have both?

It seems as if the Arai Quantum may be narrower, but I would love to get opinions. Thanks!

I have a half helmet I wear in the summer and it makes me feel like the little mushroom character from Mario Bros. :p

My helmet is the same way and it's the only one of the style I liked (3/4 with flip down faceshield) that fit. I have a small head so basically it's the biggest size helmet stuffed with padding. I have a full face on order so hopefully that will look a bit more normal.
