Carbon Fiber helmet

hi i am new to riding and i went to look at helmets and i found a carbon fiber helmet and it was the most comfortable and lightest helmet i have ever warn i was wondering if they are just as safe as a heavier helmet

yes! but do not be fooled most high quality helmets are carbon/kevlar composite helemts now days....but I know HJC has one that shows the carbon and that is not a true carbon helmet as the carbon is an overlay which makes a cheap helmet much more expensive.

My Shark RSR2 Corser replica is kevlar/carbon and a proprietary composite material and its light than the HJC by alot...shop around and put on a bunch of helmet and then give me a ring and I'll help ya get them cheaper.:)

Shark makes a very nice helmet.
