Whats Your Fav Event at a Rally, I want to hear about it!!!!!

Tell me what the best events are to bike rallys. Im new to it all so let me learn everything

The best events ??? hmmmmmmm tough one there:

When I first began going to rallys I'd have to say the bike shows and vendors were my main attractions. Then I began to go more to see other peoples bikes and what ever music entertainment. Just being around hundreds or thousands of like minded people was a blast!
Over the years I guess I've become a bit jaded, now I go to be with my friends, maybe eat or throw back a beer and just watch the crowd.:rolleyes:
You can make it as much fun as you want it to be, and your rallys vary from small local events of a few hundred to larger one of a few hundred thousand, so take your pick and enjoy the show !!:D:D

Ya got- Bikes,(all kinds)
- vendors,
- people,
- BABES, (subjective ofcorse, and a matter of openion),
- Freeks, ( also subjective),
- Music, sometimes.
- Commrads on 2 wheels,

hmmm, I wonder now how rallies are in the americas... here we have very very very few vendors, rock music, not many freaks, tons of great bikes, and so many people getting drunk! I think here rallies are basically about partying :) (no drinking and driving, we camp for the night)

Excuse me if (?) I got the question wrong, but I think yer' asking what are people's favorite goings-ons (events) at MC Rallies (and I assume including M/C Poker Runs, Road Tours, etc.)?! My favorite ones was always the 'Slow Race'. I sure tried that enough times but could never do it! :rolleyes: The objective is to line up a bunch of bikes at a starting line, and the person to finish LAST was the winner! The idea of course is going slow as possible WITHOUT putting your feet down OR falling over! It was always amazing to see some dude on a full dress Harley or similar be able to ride it like a Trials Bike! :D

Footnote: Now my second choice of course had to of been the Hot Dog Races. ;) They'd take Hot Dogs covered thick with musterd hanging from branches on string. The idea was to have your lady passenger bite off the hot dog while the dude rode the bike under it without (again) putting his feet down, stalling or falling over. Whoever bite off the most hot dog won. ;-) I dunno - guess you had to of been there (funny as anything). :)

I like the Poker Runs and the bike show as far as the event goes. I love to meet people so I love going to them!

ok not wanting to sound like a total novice here - ok i am - but what exactly is a poker run?? i keep hearing about them on this forum but dont actually know what one is

It is an event they have at most rallys. Usually you pay 10.00 per hand or 3 for 25.00. They give you a map and you ride to five different places (stops). You draw a card out of a bag and they stamp your sign up sheet. You are playing five card poker and whoever has the best hand at the end wins. They usually give away a prize for the worst hand also.
