I am looking for a replacement, new or used headlight like the one in the pic complete with gauges. Anyone know where I could find one besides the dealer? I've searched the net but came up empty. It came off an early 70's BMW R90.

Are you sure this is from an early 70 R? Seems to me more from a /3 maybe you are right and it is from an early /5, just looked through some old books.
Maybe check the german eBay.de, search for bmw motorrad scheinferfer maybe that will give you some hits.
Why do you want to change it?
