I've been attending Bikes Blues BBQ since 02 and have seen it grow from 50,000 to 300,000 people. It's one of the fastest growing rallies in the country.
In 2004 Discovery Channel held a Biker Build off there and I was able to meet both Eric Gorges and Cory Ness (who happened to win) the next year I met Jessie James. He was there last year also. The Blues Bands Rock also.

hey Cruzrat, when did you take the pictures? I was there Friday night last year, and there were lots of bikes, but nothing going on then. I got bored and went home - maybe I shouldn't have.

I usually go over for 3 days and I think the pics I posted were taken on a Saturday. I'm not sure what you mean about not much going on?? There are blues bands that play at different bars up and down the street most all day and night, and the main stage has band that start in the after noon and go till way late. Last year ZZTop was playing at the Tyson Track Center on Friday so maybe that was where part the crowd was.
To me it seems since they moved a lot of stuff out to the Track center that there wasn't as many vendors, but thats just cuz they're scattered over two areas..
I have friends that and family that live in Fayetteville so I go to BBBQ for a while then run see folks then back to BBBQ then to the bars ( i like the Majestic with 2 bars and 2 bands) then do it all over agian :D:D

I must have gotten there a bit early, because I sat on the wall in front of the courthouse and didn't see much going on, other than bikes and people. I don't think the main area was even open then. I guess I should have stayed.

Just remembered, they hadn't closed down the street yet, so I was REAL early.

Seems like there is a parade going on at all times. Actually, I don't see how Cruzrat got a pic without anyone riding or driving down the street.
