F 800 ST

My wife bought an F 800 ST last year. It's one heck of a great bike, particularly for the mountain riding we do. The few times she's let me take it out, I've had a ball. Has anyone fitted one with crash protectors? It's a tad high for her and she dropped it once when she lost footing on an incline. She's been half heartedly looking for something to offer a little protection since, just in case it happens again. It would be nice to surprise her with some if there's a decent set available.

I really dig the new F800GS though I am not sure if I get that or a R1150GS that I have wanted for a few years now....hell I love my Multistrada 1000DS so much its tough to buy a similar machine so I will be undecided for a while longer I suppose LOL!


I know the make crash bars for the F800ST and I can see what pricing would be for ya:) or we could possible get frame sliders to help ease damage in the case of a drop or crash.
