What is the state alcohol content law in your state? Do you think that it should be higher or lower, and why.
I can not believe that anyone in their right mind would get on their bike drunk, but it does happen, quite too often.
If you drink, don't ride.
Some of us will go out to a bar and have a good time, and you have to get there somehow. Taking your bike can be a good idea. If you are not brave enough to leave your bike at the bar and get a ride with someone else, then don't take your bike.
Here's a good come on line. If she's single, sober, and still here at 2AM, you can take me, and my bike home.
Try it at your next party. Whats wrong, can't ride bitch, don't get drunk.

I have no idea what it is but I don't think the problem is raising it or lowering it. The law is way too weak on offenders. Increase the jail time. Too many have had a dui's 20 times and still drive without a license in Florida.

I've never driven / rode anything even after taking a sip of anything - - it's just not worth it. I've known good people that messed up their life and career with drinking and driving. A good friend won't let a friend drive under the influence. They might be pissed off at the moment but will thank you the next day, if they're really a friend. Call a friend, take a taxi, hitch a ride or just walk - - it's cheaper and safer for the rest of us

I had a friend who after falling off the bar stool drunk got mad at me for taking his keys. The whole bar turned on me and was going to kick my as- for not letting him have his keys. I walked out and threw them in the grass and left. Sure as heck they called the cops on me. I get pulled over and checked out and let go. I was not drinking and told him the story of what happened. It is easy to say take the keys but not easy to do. He was still mad at me for weeks.

It is sad to say, but there really is no way to keep the cold hard drunk out of his car or off of his bike. You have to lock them up. No one counts their beers, and if they are a drunk, it starts with one, and never gets to two, it is just one more. I agree on enforcement. decimal points can not even be seen through beer goggles.
