Daytona 30th Annual Motorcycle Swapmeet.

While a lot of people are talking about the Daytona Bike Week, there is a very special reason to take your bags and head for Florida, the Motorcycle Swapmeet. It is one of the biggest of its kind, and 30 years strong. They still let you drink beer, so we might want to go before they ban that sort of thing in Bushville.

I think it would be worth it to go and listen to some tunes and see if the stunt man cracks his noggin', helmet and all.

There's probably so much crap to buy there, you can not begin to imagine. I think that no biker should go without another bike shop t-shirt. They make great gifts. Just own the bike.

I like bumming around all the events. There is a lot to do in every town around Daytona during this time.

I don't want to sound like a hater here, but I have been to my share of events where the swap meet was better than the races themselves.

I like the handcrafted booths the best. The big names don't really thrill me, and I can get their stuff anywhere I want. I really like leather crafts like mirror wraps and tassles for the bars, but no chaps thank you.
